Book Trailer Criteria

1. Concept

• The trailer must be inspired by a book.

• It should convey the mood, emotion, and atmosphere of the book.

• It is not a book adaptation – no direct lines, no copying scenes, and no acting as official characters from the book.

2. Length

• Micro Trailer: up to 30 seconds 

• Student Trailer: up to 120 seconds 

• Professional Trailer: up to 120 seconds

3. Technical Requirements

• Clear and understandable sound

• Good visual quality

• Can be filmed with a mobile phone or professional equipment

• The book title must be clearly stated before the end credits

4. Creative Approach

• The trailer should present a strong visual idea.

• Original interpretation is encouraged.

• The focus should remain on promoting the book through cinematic language.

• No explicit or offensive content.

Short Films Inspired by Books – Criteria

1. Concept

• The short film must be inspired by a book.

• It should convey the mood, emotions, and atmosphere of the book.

• It is not a direct adaptation of the book.

• The film must have its own storytelling and original characters.

2. Length

• Maximum duration: up to 5 minutes.

3. Technical Requirements

• Can be filmed with a mobile phone or professional equipment.

• Acceptable sound and image quality are required.

• The title of the book on which the short film is based must be clearly stated (in the film or provided via email upon submission).

4. Creative Approach

▪ The film should present a strong visual idea.

▪ Original interpretation is encouraged.

▪ The focus should remain on translating the spirit of the book through cinematic language.

▪ No explicit or offensive content.
